AGILITY is a discipline and a sport that is open to all breeds of dogs, whether they have a pedigree or not. They however do need a good level of basic obedience.

The dogs that participate in Agility have to work in the ring going over or through the obstacles, guided by their owner/trainer, in the minimum time possible, without being penalized. In general some of the obstacles that the dog may come across are jumps, ramps, hoops, see-saws, tunnels, benches, tables and slalom poles.

Agility is a physical exercise for both the dog and its owner which has a certain level of discipline attached, however, it is an enjoyable activity which is another way of building more of a bond and friendship with your dog.

In our Centre in Alaior we have a registered Agility Club which is dedicated to this sport, which has all the obstacles mentioned above and trained personnel to help you achieve your goal.
